Jeep pulley failure causes loss of a week's wages, this past week was a wash.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee took a dump again this week, when the pulley on the power steering pump disintegrated while going westbound on I-70. I was stuck on Exit 228 westbound from Monday the 19th at 9 :15 Am, till Thursday the 22nd, at 3:30 PM. Thus I lost an entire weeks worth of work, and the additional cost of $150.00 which must be paid to the man who drove up there twice, to take the pump off, and drove back to put the repaired pump with new pulley on, and get the Jeep jump started and running again.

Saturday, August 17, 2013 The Great Change Accelerates.

This blog is about to get a whole lot more important, as Facebook will be a peripheral web page I refer to or post items to, and almost Nothing personal will go there much anymore. I have my reasons, which seem good to me, and that is good enough reason for me, and for now.

My 55th birthday is approaching towards the end of the month, and I am still going thru both a painful personal transition in my health, my life situation, my financial situation, and my physical location on the surface of Earth, though still in the CONUS.

It is quite obvious to me that my life is coming to and end in the Denver Metro Area, the DRCOG area of the Front Range conglomeration of cities and towns I have lived and worked in since October 1989, Twenty Three Years, ten months time now. Much of that time was largely wasted, the money going in large part to bills, payments, registration fees, traffic tickets, fines, late fees, etc, etc,  etc. And now that the stream of money is ebbing away, and there is no hope of any new money to come from any extant job in the Front Range, it is clearly time to move somewhere else, and start again in a better freer, less socialist/corporate influenced than this rotting on the vine place has become. More later.
