First Post about why Denver Sucks as a place to live, and why it is time to leave.

Today I start the chronicle of everything that has happened in the Twenty first Century to make me decide my life as I’ve known it, is over, and to give up ever having a “normal” life, ever again.

To begin with, the state of the economy, which is bad, and getting worse, at least for the working man and woman, those without a degree, or advanced training in some scientific-engineering-technical area, or medicine, or computers, and many of the 50 something’s don’t have these degrees, so they are left out of any economic expansion, and the first subject to an economic contraction, which is the rule these latter days.

Add to that I now have type 2 Diabetes, which is managed with Metformin, 500 Mg, twice a day, once in the morning, once in the evening. But this is a progressive disease, the tendency to have it is inherited, and I definitely inherited it. It will eventually claim my life, and I’ll be dead as a result of it’s debilitating effects. Blindness, cardiovascular diseases, heart attacks, strokes, amputated legs, neuropathy, all of that awaits me, and the symptoms can be managed, but diabetes is a progressive disease, and it will eventually claim my life. So be it. My life has been a Bitter Disappointment in so m any ways, that it would take a book length manuscript to document it all, and I am writing such a book, in fact.

The 21st Century has been a Financial and a Personal disaster for me in many different ways. Three burglaries in April 2011, Christmas Day 2012, and February 22, 2013, deprived me of nine different personal firearms that were either my family’s legacy guns, or my own, bought with much time and effort, and some thief or thieves took them all from me. I lost a ~ $ 13,000.00 Machine gun, my legally converted AR-15/M-4 carbine, and it is irreplaceable, especially with the current anti gun, anti 2nd Amendment bias of the socialists in power in Washington D.C., as well as here in Colorado.

I also lost a Weatherby Mk V hunting rifle in .300 Weatherby magnum caliber which I got for a cut rate price from one of my favorite gun stores on Earth, and it too, is irreplaceable for the price I paid for it, about half of what I would have paid for it new. It had a variable power scope on top of it, and the scope alone was worth at least $250.00.

Also stolen was my father’s Remington Model 721 Scope sighted hunting rifle, in .270 Winchester caliber. And my mother’s Winchester model 94 Carbine, in .30-30 Winchester caliber. My father’s and Mother’s rifles, which should have  been passed onto my nephews and niece, but now this will not happen, because of a damned low life burglar, who probably sold these two rifles for drugs, or to Mexicans who took them south of the border for use by people who would not otherwise have the money or the means to buy two fairly modern American hunting  rifles.

Also stolen was a semiautomatic .22 short, long, and long rifle shooting rimfire Remington Model 550-1 rifle that was not shot in many years, and was cleaned, and ready to be shot at rabbits and squirrels, and unfortunately, this won’t happen either.

I also lost two Swedish Mauser rifles, a Model 96Long Rifle made in 1911, and a Model 94 Carbine, a rare variant, made in 1903, that can likely never be replaced. And reloading dies, hand and progressive presses, bullets, powder, primers, and cases all were taken by a burglar or burglars who likely knew what I had, and there can be only two or three people who knew what I had in storage, and that is the boyfriend of the former manager of that Public Storage complex, who was the only person who saw the AR case, and the case with the Weatherby and the Swedish Mauser long rifle in the front of the unit near the door.

The Denver Police Department and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives were informed about these firearms thefts, but I’ve Never heard a word back from any of them, and likely never will. Thanks a Lot, Law Enforcement. Multiple Felonies were commited against me and much personal property was stolen that can never be replaced, and Nothing can or will be done about this ?

My advice to people who suffer crimes is this: Deal with it Yourself. Don’t talk to Law Enforcement At All. Shun them; they are NOT interested in doing what is right, only in getting more people caught up in the “Justice” system, and gathering more and more power for themselves.
